Church Services
There is an active parish church in Colonsay, with weekly services on Sundays at 10.30 a.m. In the summer months (April through October) services are held in the church building, but all services are carried live on Zoom and one or two members of our congregation join from as far away as Singapore and Hong Kong. This is a Church of Scotland parish, and persons of all denominations are very welcome to attend - in fact we are especially ecumenical and regular attendees include Baptists, Catholics, CofE, Methodists and other members of the Faith community. In addition to our parish minister Trudi Newton, who is shared with the linked charge of Netherlorn, the parish is served by visiting ministers whose faithful support is highly valued by all members of the congregation.
Everyone is welcome at all services, regardless of denomination - and please do not hesitate to bring your children. If you would like to receive an invitation to join by Zoom, please contact colonsaybyrne[at] gmail.com and your message will be passed to the relevant person.
The Church of Scotland parish of Colonsay and Oronsay (No. 211300) is a registered Scottish Charity No: SC031271
